This was posted on the Finance Website: The University will reimburse transportation costs to the extent such costs exceed the normal daily cost to commute to their office. The University will reimburse for business miles driven in a personal vehicle at a rate of 58.5 cents per mile. This rate is updated on a fiscal year basis every July. So you meant to write, there will be a decrease in mileage reimbursement to $0.55 on July 1, 2009. I believe there was an error in the Mileage Rate Information stated above.
