1. FORMS ON THE WESLEYAN FINANCE PAGE
This is a reminder to be sure you are using the most up to date forms available on our Wesleyan Finance page. Important information on forms such as the Travel Expense form and the W9 form change periodically. Please be aware the mileage on the Travel Expense form is updated every year. If you generally save any forms from our Finance Page to your desktop, please be sure you have the most up to date version saved. These forms can now be accessed on the new WesPortal under Finance by clicking the “Finance Forms” link.
2. TAX EXEMPTION
Tax Exempt Certificates are available through our Accounts Payable Office. In order to obtain a Tax Exempt Certificate please send an email to ap@wesleyan.edu requesting the certificate and include the company name and address. Accounts Payable will complete the certificate and send it to the requesting individual via campus mail.
When making purchases on behalf of the University using your P-card, be sure to provide merchants with the University’s tax exempt number found on the face of your card prior to payment processing. As a non-profit organization, the University is exempt from most CT sales tax and may be exempt from sales tax in other states depending on statutory tax law. Direct questions regarding P-Cards and tax exemptions to pcard@wesleyan.edu.
