1.CAMPUS MINIMUM WAGE INCREASE
Students brought forth a proposal to increase the campus minimum wage from $10.10 per hour to $11.00 per hour. The administration reviewed the proposal and agreed to increase the current minimum wage to $11.00 on January 1, 2019. Student help budgets will be adjusted to accommodate this increase for smartkeys in operating funds 100 and 104 based on actual student help spent in the prior two fiscal years (2017 and 2018). All non-operating funds will need to fund this increase from their own resources. The increase in campus minimum wage applies to all categories of employees including temps and hourly staff.
